Whilst technology plays an extremely important part in the ethos of Godfrey & Barr, we realise that buying, selling and renting property is a people business. To this end, we have a highly trained team of negotiators who are well versed in all aspects of the property sale and rental process. Our firm was one of the first estate agents in North West London to 'go live' on the internet in 1997, long before many of our competitors had computers and our earlier web site was voted by Net User Magazine as one of the best new internet sites for property. Since that time our web site has undergone three complete rebuilds to ensure we keep up with the latest technology and consumer demands. On our latest web site, buyers can view property particulars, multiple pictures, video, floor plans and EPCs. You can also build your own 'property portfolio' of homes that interest you. The internet allows us to provide an up to date listing of all our properties for sale and rent. Godfrey & Barr has always led the field in every technological advance and we recognised the versatility of the internet long before many of our competitors. We are continually investing in expanding and improving our website and other property portals. Properties marketed by us for sale or rent are normally featured on our web site within minutes of instructions being received and we receive dozens of genuine enquiries every week. We were quick to recognise the advantages of digital imagery and in this respect, digital photographs of properties for sale and rent are taken and utilised in colour both on the internet and in our printed brochures. We have always prided ourselves in being able to produce informative and imaginative literature of a very high standard.
If you are buying or selling, we can help you appoint a local solicitor, if required, to handle the conveyance process for you and we can provide you with the names of surveyors, mortgage brokers and specialist companies you may need to complete your purchase or sale, together with the likely costs associated with your requirements.

By effective liaising with solicitors and lending institutions, the smooth progress of your sale, purchase or rental is monitored from offer stage to completion. The hardest part of any transaction is often ensuring that the progress is smooth between the time of offer and exchange of contracts. Getting the paperwork right on a rental is imperative, if the safe and efficient rental of your property is to be ensured. As a member of the Association of Residential Letting Agents and the National Association of Estate Agents, now under the banner of the National Federation of Property Professionals (NFOPP), we are kept abreast of any changes in legislation that affect the sale, purchase or rental of your property.
